“To be in communion with another person is to see beyond their surface, their facade, and to truly see their soul shining beneath” ~ Communion, by bell hooks
The work I do comes from a long lineage of healers, storytellers, and community guides from the Yoruba tribes of Benin and Nigeria — my ancestors. In our culture, people came together in what we called well circles — safe spaces where the community could share stories, release grief, and find balance after loss or conflict.
I carry that same medicine forward today in a way that fits our modern lives. My sessions help people slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect to themselves and one another. They’re not therapy in the Western sense — they’re therapy’s oldest ancestor. A space where healing begins with safety, story, and our shared humanity.
